I Was Wrong

“But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.” (Isaiah 66:2)

Did you know that admitting you are wrong is a superpower?  Want to fix your marriage? Tell her you were wrong and you are sorry.  Want to be a better friend?  Admit your failings.  Looking for respect from your kids? Ask for their forgiveness when you come up short.

A contrite person is someone that admits their guilt.  A humble person recognizes that they still have things to learn.

God LOVES these kinds of people.  The humble and the contrite – there is always room in the kingdom for more of these.

Afraid that you don’t measure up to what the Word says? Me, too.  Let’s tremble before His Word together.
