“In that day man will have regard for his Maker and his eyes will look to the Holy One of Israel.” (Isaiah 17:7)
When Peter started to drown upon the water it was because he took his eyes off of Jesus and stared at the rough seas instead.
This is not just a spiritual concept, it is a practical one. Try to catch a baseball without looking at it – take your eyes off the ball and you miss it.
Where are your eyes? Forget about the rough seas; they will pass. Keep your eyes on the Maker.
“The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.” (Matthew 6:22)
