“I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back…” (Isaiah 45:23)
How do we know we can trust God at His Word? We trust His Word because of who He is. God has always done what He says, and when He speaks, it happens. Literally, from day one, God’s word has created whatever He said it would.
His behavior shows us His righteousness.
His righteousness comes from His character
His character has provided a perfect reputation.
His reputation deserves our trust.
As His children, we should trust Him, and live so that others may learn to see His righteousness through our character and trustworthiness, also.
