Ever read a verse and find something new you never saw before? The verse was always there, but you just weren’t ready to see it yet.
When Jesus spoke, not everyone was ready for what they were going to hear. The Bible doesn’t change, but we do. As we grow, hopefully we are ready to hear truth the Scripture always had, but we just weren’t ready for.
The text is timeless, but we need to be prepared to return to it as we grow so it can push us, mold us, and feed us exactly what we need where we are.
