Redemption

“Then the women said to Naomi, ‘Blessed is the LORD who has not left you without a redeemer today, and may his name become famous in Israel.” (Ruth 4:14)

The story of Ruth is the story of redemption from tragedy.  Two widows, Ruth and Naomi, who clung to the Lord through heartache and poverty, found that He saved them.  They always had just enough, even in the leanest times, and in the end, God honored what the rest of the world considered the very least of society.

God valued them highly while life considered them utterly worthless.  Do not accept the world’s valuation of your soul – your Redeemer loves you and will see you through the darkest of seasons.
