“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” (Isaiah 55:1)
So many things in life cost more than what we can afford – so we miss it. Cost is a barrier to entry that prohibits us from experiencing something. Cost prevents accessibility.
And that is exactly what Jesus removed. You don’t have to choose God, but now eternity with Him is an option. We don’t have to choose mercy, truth, and righteousness, but because of the cross, they are an option.
He made the invitation possible.
