“Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.” (Isaiah 30:18)
It is His joy to bless us. In the way that we might long for a day off or have a craving for some favorite food, God longs and waits patiently to show us grace and compassion.
We have a God of abundance, and we ought to live like it. If you feel that you are doing without right now, it isn’t because He has forgotten about you… it is because He is waiting on high to pour out His compassion at just the right time. If you feel empty, get excited. The floodgates are preparing to be opened.
