How long will America last? Depends on who you ask. Some people say we are right near the end, others think we are living in the golden age of the good ol’ U.S. of A.
But NOBODY says America will last forever because every nation ends someday. The history books are full of great civilizations that had their day and then were swept into the dust piles of history.
Every kingdom has an expiration date except Jesus’. The church is the kingdom that just can’t be wiped out. Jesus purchased it with His blood two thousand years ago and the powers that be have been trying to snuff it out ever since, but how do you kill something that began with a King that rose from the dead?! The answer is, “You can’t.”
The church gets marginalized, persecuted, and ridiculed by nations, but never eradicated. Christians keep popping up all over the world and you just can’t get rid of them! It’s because the King of this kingdom came with news so good that it can’t be muzzled. The King loves His people and He died for their souls.
Nations come and go, but the kingdom will never be destroyed.
