Love is transformative. What and who we pour our love and adoration into transforms us. If we love money, we become anxious and fixated upon our bank balance, tight-fisted with our means, and ungrateful. Money becomes our god.
In like manner, if we love God we became grateful and generous because we recognize that all we have is from Him and for His glory. We are merely stewards of the abundance He has provided us on the lovely creation and there is nothing to fear because He will make sure there is always enough. Our love for Him transforms us.
What we love becomes who we are. Love is a choice that points toward what we wish to be.
