Immeasurable Wealth

“ ‘but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I delight in these things,’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah 9:24)

There is a natural tendency to rejoice unduly in the earthly benefits we have from birth, citizenship, education, social position, wealth, or serendipitous circumstances.  Yet, all of these things are minor blessings and are not the chief good that will truly benefit our life.

Rather, we should properly measure what is actually important in life.  The man that knows who God is truly blessed.  Fellowship with God is of eternal consequence and the worth of seeking God is beyond measure.

In tumultuous times, it is clearer than ever that the man who knows the Rock of Ages is the only one who has no fear of loss in what the future holds.
