His Word Will Prosper

“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

Everything God says prospers towards its end.  He said, “Let there be light,” and there was.  He created the heavens and the earth through His Word and all of His words are imbued with the power of His might.

So, too, are the Scriptures.  The Scriptures are God-breathed and contain all the same power to prosper.  They cannot be destroyed, nor can they be diminished.  His Word continues to prosper in a dark world and it endures through thousands of years of criticism and persecution.  When we speak His Word, we are sharing that power with the world and spreading its prosperous light.

And it will not return to Him empty.
