“Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity and revive me in Your ways.” (Ps 119:37)
New Year means new life. A chance to revive yourself and start over. Psalm 119 says a new life begins with new priorities. Your eyes are the lamp of the body, and what we look at will decide where we go. We grab what we see, therefore, what we see sets our priorities.
You will have many options for what you look at this year. The more discerning you are with what you read, watch, listen to, and dwell upon, the more revitalized you will be.
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,” (Matt 6:22)
