“When the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream.”
(Psalm 126:1)
When the Israelites were in captivity, life was pretty hopeless, and hopelessness, makes for small dreams. Yet, God had big plans for them. His plans were better than theirs and He revived their hope so that when they entered the land, it was like they were living in a dream. Freedom, land, opportunity… it was all too good to be true.
God makes big dreams happen, but they are His dreams, not ours. When we let Him choose the course and we just follow His Word, the dreams are bigger and better because the path is picked by Him, not us.
Who knows where you will be in five years? Who knows where your life should be and what you should be doing? God does.
Trust Him.
