Breathe In, Breathe Out

“But the God in whose hand are your life-breath and all your ways, you have not glorified.”

(Daniel 5:23)

Breathe in.  Breathe out.

Seriously, stop for a second and do it.

God gave you that breath.  Every slow, beautiful second of it.

Enjoy it.  Relish life and remember Him that gave it to you.  Hug your kids.  Kiss your spouse.  Greet your neighbors. Lift your eyes upward and say, “Thank you.”

Gratitude is the beginning of living your best life.  Gratitude improves everything.  It makes the best days sweeter and it keeps the worst days in perspective.

Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; (Hebrews 12:28)
