In America, we recently saw a change of government. New leaders, new ideas, and a new era in U.S. history. Maybe you are happy about it, maybe you hate it… maybe you don’t care at all.
In earthly kingdoms, leadership changes. Power is fought for, ethics are corrupted, and leaders lord it over the people.
Not for us Christians. Our kingdom is not an earthly one and our Leader is eternal. No corruption in His kingdom.
So, just remember – this world is not our home. Pray for the earthly leaders, their rule is temporary and turbulent. At best, they can offer us a quiet life if they rule well. Our King offers us eternal life. Never forget which kingdom comes first.
