“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways.” (Isaiah 55:9)
We may be made in God’s image, but His wisdom and thinking transcends ours in every way. He hates things that we adore and He loves things that we view with disdain. God forgives sins we bitter hold against others and He renders justice to unrepented sins we merely wink at. He has the patience to see things through to their conclusion and the temperament needed for the rise and fall of nations.
We follow a superior God – infinitely better than us and worthy of our worship and adoration.
